Peninsula Chapter
The Peninsula Chapter of Amigos de las Américas is one of 25 nationwide chapters of AMIGOS, an international, non-profit organization that provides unparalleled leadership and community service opportunities for young people while concurrently contributing to the well-being of hundreds of communities throughout the Americas. Our chapter serves the San Francisco Peninsula. Each October, we invite qualified applicants, 16 years and older, to join our training program, where we prepare our volunteers for service in communities throughout Latin America. Training runs from early November through May. Projects in Latin America last from 6-8 weeks during each summer.
