2009-2010 Family Participation Payment

We anticipate that the Family Particlpation Fee (Family Contribution) for the 2009-2010 year will be $2,750 per volunteer. This payment can be made in installments.

Scholarships

Amigos de las Américas seeks to make the AMIGOS Training and Services experience possible to a diverse array of youth.  Depending upon the availability of funds and the applicant's eligibility and need, the Peninsula Chapter (in conjunction with the AMIGOS International Office) can award individual applicants up to the full Family Participation Payment in financial assistance. Criteria for selection are:

1. Demonstrable financial need.

2. Determination and interest in the AMIGOS program.

3. Proven interest in leadership development and service.

4. Acceptable level of Spanish language proficiency.

5. Submission of the most recent IRS Tax Return verifying the gross family income.

Scholarship applications are included in the AMIGOS application.

Completed scholarship applications can be turned in with the other application materials, or for greater privacy, they may be mailed to the Peninsula Chapter at the following address:
